Looking for a hot Thanksgiving meal? Several local spots offering dinners

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)— It’s Thanksgiving! And if you don’t have a meal planned for the day, there are plenty of spots offering some free food.

  • In Clarkson, Brockport-based restaurant Jimmy Z’s is holding its annual Turkey in the Tent meal at the Jubilee Christian Church. That starts at 11 a.m.
  • Brothers and Sisters Unisex Salon is hosting a meal giveaway in Rochester from noon until 2 p.m. You can find them at 1274 Dewey Avenue.
  • For our vegan friends, Allah’s Kitchen will have some vegan options ready at 1 p.m. You can find them at 24 Hinchey Road.
  • La Cura Healthy Eatery will be serving free dinners from 2-4 p.m. They’re located at 1184 North Clinton Avenue
