Male victim shot on Pierpont Street

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) – Police are investigating a shooting that happened on Pierpont Street Sunday.

RPD says that a 19-year-old male victim was transported to Strong Hospital with life-threatening injuries after being shot at least once in the upper body.

The shooting occurred in the area of Pierpont Street and Bryan Street around 12:00 p.m. Police say he is in critical, yet stable condition.

Investigators have a person of interest in this incident.
