Man and daughter killed in crash between pickup truck, tractor-trailer

WAYLAND, N.Y. (WHEC) — A man and his daughter are dead after New York State Police say a pickup truck rear-ended a tractor-trailer on I-390 in Steuben County Saturday.
Troopers say Harold Novitsky, 58, of Elmira was driving.
He and his daughter, Miranda Novitsky, 19, were killed during the crash according to troopers.
The tractor-trailer driver was taken to Noyes Hospital after he complained of pain.
Troopers say the investigation is ongoing, but they believe the pickup truck’s speed was a factor.
