Man escapes law enforcement on way to court

PEMBROKE, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office said a man escaped custody at his arraignment in Pembroke town court on March 12, 2022.

Deputies said that Anthony Micucci, 27, was walking into his arraignment when he ran off.

Officers quickly caught up with Micucci and took him back into custody.

Micucci was arrested following the investigation of a violation of an order protection. He allegedly violated a complete stay-away order of protection by calling the protected party.

He is charged with escape in the second degree, three counts of criminal contempt in the first degree, and was issued an appearance ticket to the Town of Pembroke Court.
