Man hurt in shooting on city’s west side
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A man is hurt but expected to survive after a shooting on the city’s west side Wednesday afternoon.
It happened just after 1:45 p.m. on the 700 block of South Plymouth Avenue.
Police say the man, who is in his 30s, was shot in the lower body. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital.
Police say they are still investigating what led up to the shooting and have no suspects in custody.
