Man named in Brittanee Drexel case jailed

The man once named as suspect in the murder of Chili teen Brittanee Drexel is waking up in jail again.

Federal probation agents say Timothy Da’Shaun Taylor violated the conditions of his release for an unrelated robbery.

Drexel disappeared in 2009 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Last year, a jailhouse informant told the FBI that Taylor and his father had roles in her kidnapping, rape and murder.

Taylor was never charged in Drexel’s death. He is set to appear in US district court Wednesday afternoon. A judge will decide if Taylor should stay in jail.

Last year, News10NBC spoke with Taylor. Watch that interview here.
