Man shot during attempted robbery near High Falls

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Rochester Police are investigating after a man was shot during an attempted robbery Saturday night.

Officers responded around 7:30 p.m. to Fall Street near High Falls for the report of a man shot.

Upon arrival, officers found a 33-year-old man that was suffering from at least one gunshot wound to his lower body.

Investigators say It appears that the man was shot during an attempted robbery.

There are no suspects in custody at this time and anyone with information is asked to contact 911.
