Monroe County Clerk: Transactions down due to ‘failure’ with state DMV system

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)— If you’re trying to make a vehicle-related transaction through the Department of Motor Vehicles, you’re out of luck, according to the Monroe County Clerk.

Jamie Romeo Tweeted Wednesday the state’s DMV system is experiencing a "failure" which means Monroe County’s DMV cannot process those transactions.

????Due to a State DMV system failure, Monroe County DMVs are not able to process any transactions. We apologize for the inconvenience and will keep the public updated as soon as we receive an ETA on a resolution.???? #ROC #DMV

Romeo said she will keep the public updated as soon as she receives more information on when the problem may be solved.
