Monroe County Republican Committee kicks off 2021 campaign

PENFIELD, N.Y. (WHEC) — Monroe County Republicans held a campaign kickoff this holiday weekend.

The Monroe County Republican Committee held a meet and greet Saturday afternoon at Penfield Veterans Memorial Park.

One hundred and twenty GOP candidates for the 2021 elections were there including those running for State Supreme Court Judge, County Legislature, Town Supervisor roles, Rochester City Council, and many more.

"A big part of our freedom really is expressing our right to vote and trying to influence government the best we can for not only our children and family, but for everybody in the best way possible," Joe Robach, former New York State Senator said.

Robach says the event was a way to celebrate our country while meeting the candidates.
