ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Noodle the Pug was given a big honor Wednesday.

State Sen. Samra Brouk (D, 55) issued a state proclamation to Noodle in honor of Senior Pet Month.

The 13-year-old dog became a TikTok sensation with daily predictions as to whether or not it would be a "Bones Day".

"I think it’s a huge milestone whenever your animal is recognized by the government for any achievement, but more than anything it helps to solidify that all of this is very real," Noodle’s human, Johnathan Graziano, said. "You know, it all happens online and it’s so great to read comments from people who might love these videos but to know that there’s actual an impact is made in the community and that people are really implementing some of these things, these motivations in our videos ‘bones or no bones days’ the way that people are actually taking it to heart and using it to help make their days better is remarkable."

Noodle and Graziano are originally from the Rochester area.
