Ontario County holding COVID test distribution events next week

CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. (WHEC) — Ontario County is holding three COVID-19 at-home test distribution events next week.

The county is enforcing a strict four test kits per vehicle limit and only Ontario County residents are allowed to pick up tests.

The following events are scheduled:

• Gannett Hill Park, 6475 Gannett Hill Park Dr., Naples — Tuesday, Feb. 1 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Click here to register.
• Finger Lakes Casino and Raceway, 5857 NY-96, Farmington — Thursday, Feb. 3 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Click here to register.
• Lake Geneva Plaza, 795 Canandaigua Rd (Rts. 5&20), Geneva — Sunday, Feb. 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Click here to register.

The county says it has developed traffic flow plans in anticipation of high demand for the tests that will be available on the day of the event on its website.
