Oswego woman dead following car crash in Wayne County

HURON, N.Y. (WHEC) – State Police say that an Oswego woman died in a car accident in Wayne County on Friday.
At approximately 10:28 p.m., State Police responded to a one-vehicle, fatal accident on West Port Bay Road in the town of Huron.
Troopers say that a southbound SUV left the roadway, struck a sign and utility pole, re-entered the roadway, and rolled several times.
The operator and sole occupant, Amber Lagoe, 23, of Oswego was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators believe that Lagoe was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
