Police: Teen shot on Post Avenue

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Rochester Police say a 17-year-old is recovering from gunshot wound after a shooting Saturday afternoon.
Officers went to the scene on Post Avenue near Arnett Boulevard for a report of a person shot around 1:15 p.m. Police say they found evidence of a shooting, but found nobody shot.
A short time later, the teen showed up at Strong Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound to the lower body. Police say he is expected to survive.
RPD did not say if any arrests were made.
