Portion of Thruway back open after multi-vehicle crash

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A portion of the New York State Thruway has reopened after a crash involving several vehicles, at least two of which were tractor-trailers, shut down all eastbound lanes for hours Tuesday morning.

It happened shortly after 7:30 a.m. in Scottsville and the closures lasted pasted noon.

It impacted exits 47 and 46, the LeRoy/Bergen and Henrietta/390 exits.

At one point, all lanes were blocked.

One person was trapped and had to be cut out of a vehicle. As of 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, all injuries appear to have been non-life-threatening.
