Pride Picnic at Genesee Valley Park coming up

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) – Tickets are now on sale for the 2022 Pride Picnic!
Rainbow Seniors ROC—a member of the ROC Pride Collective is hosting the event, which will be held on Sunday, July 10 from 12 to 6 p.m. at Genesee Valley Park, Roundhouse area.
The picnic will include food trucks selling hot dogs, hamburgers, sausage, portabella and veggie burgers, ice cream, and empanadas. Attendees are also encouraged to bring their own food and beverages.
The picnic will be handicapped accessible, with ASL interpreters and braille bingo boards. There will be a lot of room to spread out for COVID safety. Pets must be leashed at all times.
The entertainment will begin at noon and will include Tara’s Reunion Piano Bar featuring Bob Dietch, Samantha Vega, Alicia Michaels, Miss and Mr. Gay Pride, and more.
There will be dancing with DJ Reign, Drag Bingo with Vivian Darling, a raffle, games, and vendors.
Tickets may be purchased online or at Equal Grounds Coffee House. Tickets are $5 and kids under 12 are free.
