BATAVIA, N.Y. (WHEC) – Protestors gathered outside of the Cornerstone Church in Batavia on Sunday ahead of the controversial Reawaken America Tour.

They’re concerned with the content of that tour, as well as the logistics of bringing three-thousand people to the City of Batavia. The protestors gathered on the street during one of the church’s outdoor tent Sunday services.

"Although the event is next Friday and Saturday, fascism is not going to leave after this weekend. You know all of these things elevate this ideology and these types of folks are going to be emboldened and this stuff is going to continue. So the stronger and better we can organize, the more we can show up the next time something happens,” said Lauren Berger.

The Reawaken America Tour is scheduled to be in Batavia on Friday and Saturday.
