RCSD getting more funding for educational and employment opportunities

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A 29% increase in federal funding will improve the educational and employment opportunities in the Rochester City School District.
Its office of adult and career education services now has a total of $8.5 million over five years.
The money will be spent in support of literacy zones, corrections education, along with basic and integrated English literacy.
The new funding is available to the district starting this July
