RCSD limiting sports crowds to 2 people per athlete

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The stands for fans at games in the Rochester City School District will be limited this fall.
The RCSD Tuesday announced it is restricting the number of spectators to 2 per athlete, for all athletic games, both indoors and out.
Additionally, the district says all fans are required to wear masks and keep physical distance at games.
Last month, the New York State Department of Education (NYSED) recommended that school districts cancel “high-risk” sports in high-transmission areas like Monroe County. Districts continued on with the season, with several schools not restricting crowds, but asking people to mask up indoors.

The policy could change depending on further guidance, as well as community transmission rates.
