ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Monroe County residents can now recycle that holiday cheer for free.

Each of the county’s 19 towns and 10 villages have different policies for recycling Christmas trees. Some will offer give-back programs for wood chips, some will pick the trees up at the curb, and some will host a drop-off location.

Trees can also be transported to a designated drop-off site. Those are also listed in the document above.
