ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — JP Morgan Chase canceled the in-person 2021 J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge® in Rochester due to increases in COVID-19 cases.

The event, scheduled for a reduced capacity on Tuesday, Sept. 21 at Frontier Field, will be replaced with a complimentary virtual race, and companies and people who registered for the race will have their registration fee fully refunded.

The virtual run will take place Oct. 7-18. Registered entrants may run their own race course as often as they like. Companies may register now at www.jpmorganchasecc.com/en/rochester/virtual-event.

JP Morgan Chase says it will donate to the Levine Center to End Hate to continue its annual tradition of partnering with a not-for-profit at the Corporate Challenge.

The race was also made virtual in 2020 due to the pandemic.
