Report: FDA expected to approve third-dose booster shots

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)— Federal health officials are expected to approve booster shots for all adults six months after their initial vaccine

That’s according to the Wall Street Journal.

All three vaccines; Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson and Johnson could get approval from the Food and Drug Administration by mid-September.

The Centers for Disease Control originally announced adults should get a third dose of the vaccine after eight months, but the change comes after a review of recent data from vaccine makers.

Recently the CDC said J&J’s booster gives a "rapid and robust increase" in Covid-19 antibodies.
