RIT holding on-campus COVID-19 booster clinics

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Rochester Institute of Technology is holding several on campus COVID-19 booster vaccine clinics for students, staff and faculty.

RIT announced earlier this month that it is requiring students and staff to get COVID-19 boosters by Monday, Jan. 31, or within 14 days of becoming eligible.

Wegmans will be helping administer the shots. Moderna and Pfizer will be available for people who received their initial series at least five months prior. Bring your COVID-19 vaccination record card and insurance card with you to your appointment.

The clinics will be held on the following dates and times:

  • Friday, Jan. 28 in the Alumni Room at the Student Alumni Union from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
  • Wednesday, Feb. 23 in the 1829 Room at the Student Alumni Union from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Wednesday, March 9 in the Fireside Lounge at the Student Alumni Union from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Monday, March 21 in the Student Health Conference Room at the August Center from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
