Rochester man faces decades in prison after sex crimes conviction

ROCHESTER N.Y. (WHEC) – A local man faces decades in prison following a conviction for sex crimes against women.
The jury delivered the verdict for multiple counts on Wednesday for Gary Martin. Prosecutors say he sexually assaulted two women multiple times in 2019 and 2020.
They say Martin targeted the vulnerable, victims he believed would not go to authorities for help. But they did speak out against their abuser.
Martin faces 40 years behind bars. He’ll be sentenced in April.
