Rochester Police: 2 in custody after officer spots stolen vehicle on Alphonse Street
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Rochester Police have two people in custody after they spotted a vehicle that had been stolen Wednesday on Alphonse Street Thursday night.
It happened at around 7:30 p.m. between North Street and Carter Street.
Police say the occupants of the vehicle ran before they were taken into custody.
Alphonse Street was shut down briefly but has since reopened.
Police say the investigation is still ongoing and they won’t release any further details at this time.
