RPD: Bullets hit 2 occupied homes overnight

ROCHESTER N.Y. (WHEC) — Two occupied homes were hit by gunfire overnight, according to the Rochester Police Department.

RPD responded to multiple reports of gunshots on Hawley Street just after 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The bullets hit a home on that street with two people inside, including a 12-year-old.

Around 3:45 a.m. on Wednesday, RPD responded to reports of gunfire on Murray Street. Police said they found that the gunfire hit a home with three adults inside.

In both cases, no one was hurt and there are no suspects in custody. RPD is investigating and anyone with information is asked to call 911.
