Several events postponed Thursday due to weather

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Several events have been canceled or postponed Thursday night due to inclement weather.

News10NBC’s First Alert Weather Team has issued a Yellow Alert for strong storms that will bring heavy rain, and may even pose a flash flooding threat.

The City of Rochester announced that The International Plaza will be closed Thursday evening due to the weather. It will be open on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Monroe County Executive Adam Bello announced that Thursday night’s Movies in the Parks at Ontario Beach Park was postponed due to the weather. "Moana" was supposed to run, but instead, it’s been rescheduled for Thursday, Sept. 2. Click here to see the rest of the lineup.

The ROC the Block Employment Fair was postponed due to inclement weather as well. The City of Rochester said a new date and location will be announced in the future.
