Soggy Saturday makes muddy mess along Honeoye Lake

CANADICE, N.Y. (WHEC) — In Ontario County, Saturday’s heavy rains turned a Canadice man’s driveway into a muddy, roaring stream. Norm Schrader of West Lake Road shared this image of water overrunning his paved driveway.
At the north end of the lake, the Honeoye Lake County Consolidated Sewer District sent out a public notice of possible discharge into the swamp due to flooding short after 4 p.m. Saturday.
