Strong National Museum of Play opening new ‘Play Lab’, announces more funding

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Strong National Museum of Play made two announcements Monday.
First, The Strong opened up a new space called The Play Lab. It’s included with general admission and will be open Saturday through Friday.
The lab allows guests to invent and construct with a variety of materials.
The state also announced Monday that The Strong has been awarded a $2 million grant to construct a new welcome atrium called the "Portal of Play" or POP for short.
