Tractor trailer fire shuts down portion of Thruway near Henrietta

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)— A portion of the New York State Thruway was shut down Friday morning due to a tractor trailer fire.
Troopers say the fire started just before 5 a.m. in the right lane of I-90 east between the LeRoy I-490 exit (47) and the Henrietta/390 exit (Exit 46)
The Thruway Authority said the scene was cleared around 6:45 a.m. At one point, all lanes of traffic were shut down.

Troopers say the driver was not hurt, but they’re not sure what caused the fire.
