Tre’Davious White out for the year with torn ACL

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WHEC) — Bills cornerback Tre’Davious White is out for the year with a torn ACL.

The star player was injured in the first half of Thanksgiving’s game against the New Orleans Saints. After limping off the field, he didn’t return to the game.

26-year-old White was one of the cornerstones of the Bills’ defense this year. Aside from Micah Hyde, he’s the only defender with a pick, forced fumble and fumble recovery.

He’s also the only defender in the league to have been closest to 50 or more targets without giving up a touchdown.
