Troopers: Motorcyclist seriously injured after crash on I-490

GATES, N.Y. (WHEC) — A motorcyclist is seriously injured after a crash on I-490 westbound in the town of Gates.
New York State Police say the motorcyclist was merging from I-390 northbound to I-490 westbound when they lost control and crashed at around 6 p.m. Friday.
Troopers say no other vehicles were involved.
The motorcyclist was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.
The crash closed I-490 westbound for more than two hours, but it has since reopened.
