United Way kicks off first-ever 6-county campaign

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes kicked off its 104th annual campaign Wednesday.

This year marks the first-ever six-county campaign for United Way.

That means that Canandaigua National Bank and Trust will match United Way’s community impact fund dollar for dollar, up to $500,000.

Last year’s "Built Together, Built Strong" campaign raised $32.1 million for the fund.

Donations can be made online. Organizations can host a United Way campaign by emailing campaign@unitedwayrocflx.org.
