Vision Automotive brings back ‘Reason for the Season’

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Local business Vision Automotive’s Reason for the Season is back.

Vision teamed up with Rochester General Hospital’s Pediatrics Department to bring holiday cheer to local children.

The event was canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but this year they put together a smaller team to deliver toys to Rochester General’s Pediatric Center.

“This year because of the pandemic, we had to change things but not why we do things,” Special Events Coordinator Joe Cicione said. “There’s no reason these children should be deprived of their present when they get discharged from the hospital. So we put together a smaller team with the same cause, and we’re carrying it out.”

Those toys were immediately delivered to Rochester General’s Pediatric Center.
