Wayne County Sheriff’s Office investigating Sodus bank robbery
SODUS, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a bank robbery that happened in the Village of Sodus on Wednesday.
Deputies say it happened at the KeyBank on 26 West Main St. at around 1:30 p.m.
The suspect, described as a white man approximately 5’6” tall and in his early 30s wearing a blue windbreaker and a “Halloween” style mask, entered the bank and demanded money from the tellers.
Deputies say he took the cash and drove off, headed west down Main Street in a low-riding silver car with a damaged passenger side headlight.
He had a passenger with him, who deputies say is described as a heavier set woman in her 20s.
