‘We are safe and secure because of you’ RIT hosts annual Veterans Day breakfast

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)— Thursday marked Veterans Day, and locally, some veterans, service members, and their families were treated to breakfast on a larger stage.

People gathered at the Gordon Fieldhouse on the campus at the Rochester Institute of Technology for the annual meal. This year’s theme was "We are safe and secure because of you."

In addition to the free food, there were military vehicles on display and information tables from the Veteran’s Outreach Center and Veterans Upward Bound, among other resources.
