Wegmans expanding to Connecticut

GATES, N.Y. (WHEC) — Wegmans is expanding to another state in the Northeast.

The Gates-based grocer plans to open its first store in Connecticut.

It will be built in the City of Norwalk.

The two-level store will be about 95,000 square feet, and will also include a multi-level parking garage.

No timeline has been set for the construction and opening of the new store.

Wegmans currently has 106 stores in seven states.
