Where to get a free rapid test kit in Monroe County
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Monroe County towns continue to hand out free COVID test kits to families.
The county had declared a state of emergency over rising COVID-19 numbers.
The kits are being distributed directly to schools and towns that are holding their own test kits pickup events:
Clarkson is distributing COVID-19 test kits on Dec. 31 from 10:30 a.m. – Noon at the Stanley Pogroszewski Justice Court. Limit one kit per household.
Like many communities in Monroe County, East Rochester is currently out of test kits. However, they have requested more. You can click here for updates.
Henrietta is distributing remaining kits at the Recreation Center during normal hours. Kits are also being distributed through the school district. Click here for more information.
The Hilton Central School District is handing COVID-19 tests out to students. Click here for more information.
Mendon residents can pick up one kit per household at the Town Office during normal business hours.
