Teachers in the Rochester City School District have some requests before more students return for in-person learning.
The Rochester Institute of Technology says it will ramp up testing during its spring semester.
The college will still start the semester on Feb 8., but instead of delaying in-person learning until March 1, they'll both start the same day.
Rochester City School District students in grades 7 through 12 will be able to return to the classroom for in-person instruction starting on Monday, Feb. 22 if their families want them to.
The Webster Central School District will resume testing of their in-person students, and staff for COVID-19.
After nine months of not seeing a classroom, more than 300 Rochester City School District students were welcomed back on campus Tuesday.
The semester will run through May 12. The decision to delay follows a move made by several local colleges and universities.
