MARION, N.Y. (WHEC) — Some students at Marion Elementary School are switching to virtual instruction as a result of contact tracing, according to the district.

Students in the fourth-grade morning cohort will learn virtually while all other students continue in-person learning.

The district says it anticipates the quarantined students can return to in-person learning on Nov. 30.

The district is also pausing in-person instruction at the Junior-Senior High School for at least the next two days. In-person instruction is expected to resume on Monday, Nov. 23.

Other programs for Junior-Senior High School students, including Tech and Career, will continue.
