ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Students with special needs in the Rochester City School District will return to the classroom next week.
Starting Tuesday, K through 12 students in specialized classes will learn in-person for four days a week.
This comes as a relief to parents who have been juggling virtual instruction alongside their students.
"She couldn't take it, a full day of learning, so we had to cut that time which is not great, but she couldn't do Zoom all day," mother Clara Washington said. "On a lot of things that they needed her to do, she needed to have that in-person learning to get it done."
In-person learning will resume four days a week for students with special needs as part of RCSD's three-phase reopening plan.
