ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) is implementing a COVID-19 vaccine mandate for its employees.

The mandate will apply to all employees, regardless of whether they work on-site or remotely unless they receive a medical or religious exemption.

The university required students to be vaccinated before they returned to campus this fall. It’s also requiring people to show proof of vaccination in order to attend hockey games at the Gene Polisseni Center.
