ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Billiard halls in New York State can open starting March 5.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo made the announcement during a press conference Monday, when he also announced nursing home visitation regulations and that schools will be asked to share how many of its teachers are vaccinated and how often they are teaching in person.
Pool halls in our area will be restricted to 50% capacity and masks must be worn at all times except for when guests are eating or drinking.
Social distancing must also be enforced, with barriers between parties and each party assigned to a separate table.
All rented or shaped equipment is required to be cleaned and disinfected between uses.
Cuomo also announced that movie theaters in New York City can open starting March 5.
