ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Buffalo Bills tight end Dawson Knox has tested positive for COVID-19.

In a Tweet sent out Saturday afternoon, the team announced Knox's positive test, he was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.

In addition, three other players- tight ends Lee Smith, Tommy Sweeney, and practice squad tight end Nate Becker were determined to be in close contact with Knox, and were also placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list, they will also miss Sunday's game at the New York Jets. 

Buffalo has elevated four players from its practice squad, including wide receiver Duke Williams, offensive lineman Jordan Devey, linebacker Andre Smith, and rookie cornerback Dane Jackson.

The team says it will continue to prepare for Sunday's game, and will still travel as scheduled.
