ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has taken down the tips that it put up for safe holiday gatherings that it put up over the weekend.
"The content is in the process of being updated by CDC to reflect current guidance ahead of this holiday season," CDC spokeswoman Kristen Nordlund claimed in a statement Monday. "The page had a technical update on Friday, but doesn’t reflect the CDC’s guidance ahead of this upcoming holiday season. CDC will share additional guidance soon."
Before they were taken down, here's what the CDC said:
The safest way to celebrate is virtually, with people who live with you, or outside and at least 6 feet apart from others.
If you are celebrating in-person, here are some tips to protect yourself and your loved ones from COVID-19.
