ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — News10NBC is tracking the coronavirus in the surrounding counties in the Greater Rochester and Finger Lakes area.

In Genesee County, five people have died from COVID-19-related causes, 191 people have tested positive for the virus. Genesee and Orleans Counties have a shared case map.

In Livingston County, seven people have died from COVID-19-related causes, 117 people have tested positive for the virus, 3,795 people have tested negative and 104 people have recovered. The county has a map of cases.

In Ontario County, 28 people have died from COVID-19-related causes, 216 people have tested positive for COVID-19, seven people are currently hospitalized, 94 people are in isolation or quarantine and 153 people have recovered from the virus. Three of the dead were residents of the Ontario Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Hopewell and 25 cases have been residents or employees of the Elm Manor Nursing Home according to Ontario County Public Health.    Ontario County has a case dashboard.

In Orleans County, 40 people have died and 238 people have tested positive for COVID-19. Genesee and Orleans Counties have a shared case map. At least 24 of the dead were connected to the Villages of Orleans Health and Rehabilitation Center.

In Seneca County, two people have died from COVID-19-related causes. There are 44 confirmed cases of COVID-19. Of those cases, four people are hospitalized and 37 people have recovered. Nineteen people are in quarantine and being monitored.

In Steuben County, 42 people have died from COVID-19-related causes, 267 people have tested positive for the virus, six are hospitalized and 193 have recovered. There are also 81 people in quarantine. Steuben County has a case map.

In Wayne County, four people have died from COVID-19-related causes and 120 people have tested positive for virus. Of those cases, 94 have resolved. The county's public health department has demographic information on its website.

In Wyoming County, five people have died from COVID-19-related causes, 82 people have tested positive for the virus and 74 people have recovered. Three people are in mandatory isolation and 10 are in mandatory quarantine.

In Yates County, seven people have died, 43 people have tested positive for COVID-19, none of those people are hospitalized, 44 people are under quarantine or in isolation and 29 people have recovered.

The information above is from each county’s health department. Not all health departments release the same information and some release more information than others.
