ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — News10NBC is tracking the coronavirus in the surrounding counties in the Greater Rochester and Finger Lakes area.

In Genesee County, at least five people have died from COVID-19-related causes, 4,903 people have tested positive for the virus. Genesee and Orleans Counties have a shared case map.

In Livingston County, 44 people have died from COVID-19-related causes, 4,199 people have tested positive for the virus, and 4,057 people have recovered. The county has a map of cases.

In Ontario County, 106 people have died from COVID-19-related causes, more than 6,900 people have tested positive for COVID-19, 19 of which are new cases, eight people are hospitalized, 441 people are in isolation or quarantine, and 6,556 people have recovered from the virus. Ontario County has a case dashboard.

In Orleans County, at least 49 people have died and 2,720 people have tested positive for COVID-19. Genesee and Orleans Counties have a shared case map. At least 24 of the dead were connected to the Villages of Orleans Health and Rehabilitation Center.

In Seneca County, 70 people have died from COVID-19-related causes. There are 1,990 confirmed cases of COVID-19. Of those cases, two are hospitalized, 1,876 people have recovered and 104 are in quarantine and being monitored.

In Steuben County, 172 people have died from COVID-19-related causes. Of the 6,373 confirmed cases, 174 cases are active. Twenty-one people are hospitalized and 6,004 have recovered. There are also 558 people in quarantine. Steuben County has a case map.

In Wayne County, 46 people have died from COVID-19-related causes. The health department reports a total of 4,850 positive cases. Of those cases, 4,689 have resolved and 115 are active. As of Friday, 8 required hospitalization. The county's public health department has demographic information on its website. Of the 46 deaths in Wayne County, 17 were residents of the DeMay nursing home.

In Wyoming County, 51 people have died from COVID-19-related causes, 2,479 people have tested positive for the virus, 2,386 people have recovered, 42 people are in mandatory isolation, and 119 people are in mandatory quarantine. The county says 13,491 people, or 33.7% of the population, have gotten at least one dose of the vaccine.

In Yates County, 25 people have died, 1,192 people have tested positive for COVID-19, 22 cases are active, one person is currently hospitalized, 94 people who may have been exposed are in quarantine or isolation and more than 1,100 people have recovered. Yates County has a COVID-19 dashboard.
