ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — News10NBC is tracking the coronavirus in the surrounding counties in the Greater Rochester and Finger Lakes area.

In Genesee County, at least five people have died from COVID-19-related causes, 5,323 people have tested positive for the virus. Genesee and Orleans Counties have a shared case map.

In Livingston County, 46 people have died from COVID-19-related causes, 4,708 people have tested positive for the virus 15 cases are active, and 4,647 people have recovered. The county reports 48.7% of the population has been vaccinated. The county has a case dashboard.

In Ontario County, 106 people have died from COVID-19-related causes, more than 7,400 people have tested positive for COVID-19, one of which is a new case, four people are hospitalized, 79 people are in isolation or quarantine, and 7,239 people have recovered from the virus. Ontario County has a case dashboard.

In Orleans County, at least 49 people have died and 3,091 people have tested positive for COVID-19. Genesee and Orleans Counties have a shared case map. At least 24 of the dead were connected to the Villages of Orleans Health and Rehabilitation Center.

In Seneca County, 71 people have died from COVID-19-related causes. There are 2,140 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and six are active. Of those cases, none are hospitalized, 2,063 people have recovered and 18 are in quarantine and being monitored.

In Steuben County, 186 people have died from COVID-19-related causes. As of June 14, of the 6,950 confirmed cases, 24 cases are active. More than 41% of the eligible residents in the county are vaccinated. Steuben County has a case map.

In Wayne County, 50 people have died from COVID-19-related causes. The health department reports a total of 5,334 positive cases. Of those cases, 5,278 have resolved and 6 are active. As of June 16, 8 require hospitalization. The county's public health department has demographic information on its website. Of the 50 deaths in Wayne County, 17 were residents of the DeMay nursing home.

In Wyoming County, 52 people have died from COVID-19-related causes, 3,764 people have tested positive for the virus, 2,710 people have recovered, one person is in mandatory isolation, and three people are in mandatory quarantine. As of June 17, the county says 17,786 people, or 53% of the population, have received at least one dose of the vaccine.

In Yates County, 25 people have died, 1,269 people have tested positive for COVID-19, one case is active, no people are currently hospitalized, one person who may have been exposed is in quarantine and more than 1,200 people have recovered. Yates County has a COVID-19 dashboard.
