ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — DiBella's is doing its part to try and keep people fed during the COVID-19 outbreak.
The sub shop will be taking 50% off all orders for first responders, healthcare workers and active military members.
For all orders that don't receive a discount, DiBella's will be donating half of its sales to local food banks.
"It's the little bit we can do in these crazy times," Peter Fox, President of DiBella's said. "The only thing we can really do to add. Keep our employees employed, keep keeping paychecks in their pockets as well as help the communities we operate in."
Fox says they've raised about $100,000 for local food banks.
DiBella’s is also promoting social distancing by offering free delivery on all orders more than $15.
The company says these deals will be active at least through the end of the month.
