FAIRPORT, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Fairport Central School District has confirmed that two more students have tested positive for COVID-19.

In a letter sent to the community, Superintendent Brett Provenzano and COVID-19 District Liaison Deborah Miles said that one of the students attends Northside Elementary School, while another goes to Johanna Perrin Middle School.

The letter also says that contact tracing has been completed and those who may have been exposed have been contacted. In addition, it is believed that the origin of the cases came from outside of the schools.

Previously, a high school student tested positive in the district, as had a staff member
