ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Genesee Community College will hold a seven-day mass vaccination clinic starting Friday, March 5.
Members of the Genesee, Orleans and Wyoming county health departments will run the site.
Five-hundred doses of the Pfizer vaccine will be available per day.
The decision comes after Public Health Directors in Genesee, Orleans, and Wyoming counties wrote a letter to Gov. Andrew Cuomo, saying the counties receive minimal vaccine allocations and are medically underserved.
Once sign-ups open, residents can call 1-833-697-4829, the state’s vaccination line, for an appointment.
More details on the vaccination site are expected in the coming days.
