ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — As of this week, both Delta Sonic and Royal Car Wash are back open for customers.
At Delta, car washes are running for "Unlimited Members" only.
They'll only have two workers on site so don’t plan for any towel dry services. The detail shops are still closed. Delta says it didn't charge unlimited customers in April.
Beginning on May 1, you'll get charged $5 and tax for all of May for washes. If you have a detail shop plan, you'll get a $0.01 charge on May 1 to keep the membership active.
Delta will match money from those charges and donate it to the American Red Cross.
Royal Car Wash locations are open for everyone, club members, cash and credit paying drivers as well. You'll use automatic pay machines to drive-thru.
Unlimited Royal Club members will get refunds for the time the car wash was closed to the public. Additionally, all accounts put on hold are now reactivated.
The new billing cycle starts Monday, May 4.
While they are reopened, their hours are limited. Delta and Royal are only open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through May 15 while New York is on PAUSE.
